Edge from the US brought quite the heavyweight stack.

Eggleston Works from America showed with Mimetism of France/Switzerland.

Elac created a Germanic union with Accustic Arts.

Eventus Audio from Italy woos with lacquers that echo Ferrari. Amplification of choice was Luxman in importer Wise Sound's exhibit.

Exposure from the UK showed off a neatly integrated stack that does away with the ubiquitous hifi rack women in particular love to hate.

Focus Audio from Canada lived up to its name despite my poor camera exposure setting.

Full Music's Liu Zhe Sheng brought his Deluxe Edition 845, 211, new 300B SE and new 12AX7 and 12AU7 triodes.

Hansen held court with Pass Labs whose INT 150 is enroute to Casa Chardonne - from Sweden.

Hegel from Norway teamed with Legacy Audio from the US and I took the opportunity to have Hegel's technical director and founder Bent Holter explain their patented feed-forward error correction system for my upcoming review of his statement P/H10 pre/power combo.

Herald International Holdings Ltd. is from Markham Ontario Canada but the maker is Xianqu of China. Under the Herald brand, they make the H-2M777 hornspeaker with active bass servo shown and a very nice-looking HDCD-733S top-loading CD player and matching P-4C765B integrated (the CDP in the photo is by Raysonic however).

Which now gets us to the most massive Chinese speaker exhibit assault at the event: HiVi Swans. They're reputedly one of if not the largest Sino driver manufacturing house and their showing certainly lent serious credence to such claims or perceptions. Fit'n'finish wouldn't be embarrassed by any competitor and as far as scale... well, you be the judge.

If any other Chinese speaker house comes even close, they weren't at the show. Which then begs the question why. Not only did HiVi impress with its products, the entire presentation was top-notch professional. Applause!
